Jazz Concert

There was a Jazz Concert at our university on October 4 and my friend Rafael’s sister was going to sing. So me, Artiom and Alla decided not to lose our chance to see her singing. As always the concert started later than it should (about 30 minutes later). I left my friends in their places and went to find a position from where I could take better photos. When the concert started I found a free seat in centre of the first row :) .
The concert opened Rafael’s sister – Anoush
and some students from our university were dancing .

As a special guest maestro Martin Vardazaryan was playing on the piano. During the concert he told very interesting stories about some jazz compositions of armenian and foreign composers.

His granddaughter with a guy whom I didn’t know were conducting the concert.

Some photos of saxophonist,

Anoush,

and the violin player (he also was from our university).

I couldn’t take photos of bass guitarist because of his bad position on the scene. Here are guitarist and drummer.

Maestro Vardazaryan and his granddaughter performed very beautiful composition. Her voice was nice but I don’t think that her voice is for jazz music. Though Anush is my friend’s sister and I can sound a little bit biased I think that her voice is much more beautiful.

Last song that I remembered and still I am singing in my mind was Nat King Cole’s “L. O. V. E.”. They performed it in an excellent way.

Everyone were happy :)

MetalFront Fest Day Two

Hi guys, as you see it’s my second post. This is a PROGRESS, I think ;)

I want to tell about metal music festival at Puppet Theatre some days ago. I went there not only as a listener but as photographer too. I was taking photos of my friends at Puppet Theatre. First, a little about the concert. There was nothing special but the last three bands: Sworn, Rossomahar and Melechesh. And I was extremely happy when I found for myself that Sworn almost on the same level as Melechesh (not counting playing technique).

What about photos I think this time they are better then last times :) . One interesting thing that I knew, but never used before this concert. I tried to take photos with flash and when I felt that photos were getting better I remembered that I had read about it somewhere :) . So I will say an undeniable thing that nothing will replace the practice and not only in photography, but everywhere. Here are some good photos I took there. Good Luck :) I’ll try to write posts more often.
